TRIAL LESSONS
Try us out before committing to a package! Our trial lessons offer you the opportunity to take to the skies in one of our aircraft, under the supervision of one of our fabulous instructors. You’ll be introduced to the aircraft, and shown some basic aircraft handling. All hours undertaken in a trial lesson can be logged towards your PPL if you choose to continue flying with us.
TERMS & Conditions
You may only undertake a maximum of two trial lessons. After this time, if you wish to continue flying, you must progress to PPL training flights, either through one of our packages, or pay-as-you-go.
Trial Lessons purchased online have a maximum validity of 12 months from the date of purchase. If your voucher is about to expire, please contact our team to discuss your options.
Only persons aged 14 or over are able to undertake a trial lesson.
Purchases made online benefit from a 14 day cooling-off period. You may request a refund within 14 days of purchasing, provided:
You have not flown your trial lesson (obviously!)
You have not booked a date for your trial lesson within the first 14 days, or your booked date is not within the next 7 days.
You have not previously booked and rescheduled your trial lesson with us providing less than 7 days notice.
If you have booked in a date and time for your flight and it is cancelled by us (for issues such as weather, aircraft serviceability, instructor illness etc) then this does not affect your 14 day cooling off period.
Your trial lesson is an instructional flight, only for one person. Under CAA rules, we are not permitted to accept additional passengers as observers.
If you have friends or family who wish to accompany you on the day, they may watch you take-off and land from the Pathfinder Cafe (open 0800-1600, 7 days a week). If you are aged under 18, one adult may accompany you to the pre-flight briefing. The school briefing rooms are not suitable for friends or family to wait during your flight.
