ADVANCED UPSET PREVENTION RECOVERY TRAINING (A-UPRT)
The Advanced Upset Prevention & Recovery Training (A-UPRT) is structured to refine the skills of pilots in recovery from unusual attitudes and upset aircraft conditions. The course is a requirement for a future career of flying.
The course includes 3 hours of training with an Instructor covering aerodynamics, loss-of-control scenarios, upset recognition and advanced stall recovery and spin awareness. The training is aimed to build confidence, increase pilot ability, as well as increase situational awareness. These topics are also extensively covered in the course’s 5 hours of ground school.
Many of our students complete the A-UPRT as part of our modular flowchart. More information on that can be found here.
